Using the net

Lately I’ve mostly been talking about GOLDEN HILLS, but since RAVENS OF AVALON is my most recent publication, I really ought to be focusing on that one, and give it what help I can.

I recently learned that the publisher is doing a full-page ad in the program book for World Fantasy Con, to be held the weekend after Hallowe’en in Saratoga Springs, NY. It occurred to me that showing up at the con would be a good idea, particularly as it’s a good one at which to hunt down editors.

Unfortunately, all the convention hotels seem to be sold out. I’m investigating smaller places in the area, but it occurs to me to ask, first, are any of my friends (or friends of friends) attending, and if so, would anyone like to share room expenses by adding a room mate on a roll-away? Or second, do you know of anyone in the general area who would be willing to host a visiting writer for a few days? I can bring signed books…..

If anyone has any ideas that would help, let me know.
